Sukkah Murals offers a high-touch, custom manufacturing product: full-scale, dimension-accurate wall murals. The existing platform was plagued by severe operational vulnerabilities. Generating massive, print-ready high definition image files based on user-cropped dimensions or personal uploads regularly overloaded the main server, crashing the site and causing checkout failures.
We stepped in to completely reengineer the platform's architecture. To isolate the resource heavy processing, we built a dedicated, standalone image-generation microservice offsite. We decoupled the creation engine from the checkout funnel, shifting processing to run asynchronously after payment authorization. Once successfully generated, the print files are automatically pushed to a printing cloud pipeline for production. By stabilizing the core application and adding a custom client-image gallery and cropping functionality, we transformed an unstable workflow into a reliable, high-performance automated enterprise.
