In an immediate response to the crisis in Israel, we engineered and deployed OneShabbat.org from concept to launch in a single day. The platform serves as a pairing engine, connecting thousands of global participants with individual Israeli soldiers to foster spiritual support and solidarity. We focused on a streamlined user journey: an intuitive onboarding form that instantly assigns a soldier's name, paired with custom-engineered email triggers for immediate user confirmation.
Despite the accelerated development timeline, the site was built to handle massive concurrent traffic from users in dozens of countries. By prioritizing rapid deployment without sacrificing reliability, we created a stable digital hub that allowed thousands of people to take meaningful action in real-time during a period of global urgency.
